DNS Records Checker

How to Use the DNS Records Checker

Our DNS Records Checker allows you to quickly inspect the configuration of any domain. Whether you are troubleshooting email delivery, verifying ownership, or checking your site's infrastructure, follow these simple steps:

  • Enter the Domain: Type the domain name you wish to investigate (e.g., example.com) into the input box.

  • Select the Record Type: You can either leave it on "All" to see everything or select a specific record type (such as A, MX, CNAME, or TXT) to narrow your results.

  • Run the Check: Click the "Check DNS" button.

  • Analyze the Results: The tool will instantly fetch the current DNS zone file information from the authoritative nameservers, allowing you to verify if your records are configured correctly.

Why use this tool?

  • Troubleshooting: Is your email not working? Check your MX records.

  • Configuration: Verify that your A record points to the correct IP address.

  • Security: Easily view your SPF or DKIM records (found under TXT) to ensure your email domain isn't being spoofed.

Pro Tip: DNS changes can take time to propagate globally. If you’ve just updated your records, keep in mind that it may take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours for changes to reflect across all servers.
